high production quality, no gameplay

i'm being generous with this review. i love your work, the art, sound, music, and programming all work together to create a complete, good looking and sounding game. The problem is you don't really have any game designers on your team. Don't get me wrong, everything is good except for the game itself. it's bland and offers nothing i haven't seen before. i hate that you had to fall into making spinoff mini games. Why not include this in the bigger project?

you should bring on a more qualified level designer or game designer because there's nothing unique about this concept, it's slow and boring and i hate to see such awesome artists work on a dull game like this

Jazza responds:

it was going to be in the main game, but we decided to split it up instead for both filesize and publicity purposes. we spent a week on this game so its not MEANT to be anythign revolutionary, however the game coming is something we spent months on so let me know how i did there! thanks for the review!

majestic

magnificent in every way. i just wish i could rape wizard

BoMToons responds:

hmm, maybe I'll add that in. On 2nd thought...

its an okay game

at first it seems funny just because of what it is, but as a game it's not fun

at some parts the enemies are rediculously placed and on one level once you fall you can't get back up...

don't just take engines from tonypa tutorials. if you understand the code behind it you'll understand how to make a better game

FatKidWitAJetPak responds:

Its not really supposed to be fun.. its supposed to be funny. I am working on a MUCH better game now though lol.

godly

i own at this game no one can beat me, not even you david silver!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

good game and good luck widdit

TrueDarkness responds:

Haha, yeah, I actually kinda suck at it to be honest. Maybe I should try for a highscore on the scoreboards... Thanks a lot man!

lol good job

the DS version is better

TrueDarkness responds:

I love you too..

good jorb guys!

even though i didn't play the whole way through all at once, i know it's a good game :P

Glaiel-Gamer responds:

what's a jorb?

:p :p :p :p :p

eh not that exciting...

Graphics are simple but could still be better...the white background behind Times New Roman font looks horrendous btw.

Can't really say much about the style because its a background and a ball...not much else.

There is only one song you put in so there isn't that much sound.

The interactivity could be more than just clicking repeatedly at the coin too..

Overall wasn't that fun or exciting and could be better graphics wise and gameplay-wise. Like add some effects to the ball or something when it bounces or when you click. Like rotation or attached movie clips of randomly generated special effects. You should have also made it more interactive. The idea of just clicking on the coin to win isn't really that fun. You should have made it so you have one click per bounce, and if you missed the coin you have to wait till it bounces. The whole time, my ball didn't even bounce, I just repeatedly clicked to keep it in the air, so I don't even know why it's called Bounce...

Daj responds:

ummm... what? there's 9 background to choose from, and i didn't use Time New Roman, it's called Pagoda SF.

you aren't supposed to click at the coin repeatedly, that's why i made it so the more times you click, the less points you get for the coin.

I've decided to make a better version of Bounce, with different game modes, powerups, different music, and having to wait for it to bounce before being able to click again.

and although i don't care to much for your rating, thanks for the advice anyways =)

good job guys! another from the dynamic duo!

The graphics and style speak for itself. They are both equal to one another. The cartoony style calls for more simple and clean graphics and less realistic animation which is what you were going for anyways. The sound and music fit perfectly and some of the sounds are what earned you humor points. There wasn't much graphic violence (and i still don't know why violence is an option but anyway...), and the interactivity was good but there still could have been more powerups and attacks which could have made the game more indepth, which is the game's only flaw. There are unique levels as you play, but more powerups means more strategy and more enemies. (It doesn't matter, still simple and fun!)

Keep it up, can't wait for your next game! This was a big step up from your medieval game with the knight carrying the shield and sword!

Buzzwerd responds:

Haha, thanks alot man, and thanks for the help.

very nice overall game...deserves higher score

i liked the comic story or w/e and the overall gameplay idea...

the graphics were AMAZING! great job on those...

however, when i got to level 3, there was no target to hit and i'm not sure why...great job with the smooth gameplay

i liked the ability to angle your shot too and your power so that was cool...great work, hope to see a sequel with tons of power ups!

Youdagames responds:

You won't believe how much features there are!!

sweet!

very useful for popular flash artists...too bad can't do this with images and video... :/

good job, pretty much reviewed to tell you how useful this is for a lot of things like my games getting stolen by hungarian websites (found this out recently)....

i might use it sometime, good job

i also reviewed this to sorta 'bookmark' it without putting in favs :P

influensi responds:

God damn commie bastards.

I make my observations into something you can observe.
