I've always loved her work, whenever someone wants to work with tweens or complains that the cut paper style isn't creative enough I refer them to her work :)

oh yeah definitely, what surprises me is that she draws and details her characters on the insides too and then cuts out the outline. it really makes her characters much more believable and detailed and gives their silhouettes interesting shapes.

That stuff's amazing, although the Hansel and Gretel vid creeps the hell outta me...
i'm only commenting because you commented out of guilt
hansel and gretel is a creepy story. i'm surprised it ever ended up as a kid's story
A lot of Christian Andersen's stories were (barely) adapted to child stories, hell, I remember once in school, when I was six, I bought a different version of The Red Shoes that was SUPPOSED to be for children...
My god...
at least it has a happy ending! haha
In the version I had; the girl was so happy because her legs were chopped off, she starts coughing blood because her heart exploded and dies. NO SHIT
hahaha she dies of course. but she goes to heaven...sometimes
Looks pretty awesome so far :)
