i really like the background in this

the overall scene i just love...colors and everything. it all fits together nicely with the angle of the distorted perspective.

what happened to the art contests? they used to have hundreds of amazing good entries....

i like the depth of field of the cord

well done. seems a little out of place of the table, maybe because of the very harsh ambient light on the usb plug making it a bit cartoony compared to the texture and reflectiveness of the table.

good job though. much detail went into it i'm sure

I thought that too I kept looking at it think "I didn't cellshade it" I think it comes from the fact I messed around getting the plastic looking good in black but then when I rendered it I had lost a lot of the detail. I was not going to have that not show up so changed the colour and just did it by RGB value and not remaking the texture. Lol table was just a quick stage for it and most people go "Oooooo" when stuff is posed on a shiny surface.

i really like the colors and shading style

but try and work on making it fun to look at. it's a cool design and technically done well. try and put him in a sweet pose

i can tell you put a lot of work into it

try to add like a huge third person view of a spaceship or something in the lower left corner, peering down at what ever the heck is going on.

i it is cool and all but i feel like it can use something more artistic, drawing-wise than just doing the standard star noise effect, render clouds, mass lens flares, and dodge tool light streams. it's too cliche and overdone. try and add something of your own spaceship fleet or something in there
